Chore Chick is the creation of Amy Schumacher. Like many other entrepreneurs, Amy was working in a job that she wasn’t sure was really “her” and had been doing side projects for extra money. As the “side projects” became more and more frequent, she decided to turn her side business into a full-fledged endeavor.
Amy comes from Wisconsin originally and attributes her current breadth of capabilities to growing up working on a dairy farm. She and her two brothers were responsible for fixing, maintaining, and ensuring that the farm was in working order. Amy has always juggled multiple projects and roles, so creating “Chore Chick” was a logical step.
Chore Chick was founded on the ideals of providing the best customer service possible while providing the best service possible.

Karen joined Amy in the Chore Chick business after spending over 17 years in the corporate world working as a network engineer where she gained a broad technical background with experience in computers, networks and phones and she is excited to be able to offer these skills to you.
Between moving as a kid and assisting her parents with improving their new homes and as an adult buying a home that reminded her of the movie “The Money Pit,” she has honed her home improvement skills and is now ready to help with your handiwork needs.
